Located
just west of 111th Street and south of Arapaho Rd. in Lafayette,
Colorado, Grandpa’s was spied by my sister, Melissa when she took her daily
walks in the morning. Dick and Shirley visited her in 1981 on their way to Nebraska
and saw the old farm house and thought it warranted a few pictures; he did so
and produced one of his grandest paintings.
At 24x48 this epic rural farm scene is one of Dick's largest works.
Could they be waiting for a tornado?
